Henderson County VINE Scope
Kentucky VINE is the official statewide custody-notification system. It gathers custody data from jail booking systems, prisons, and certain other facilities. Henderson County's victim-notification page links the service. Even so, verify any live result as a true Henderson County entry. The county posts no technical feed-status statement for HCDC.
What does VINE actually answer? It can report a facility, a custody status, and changes like release or transfer. It does not show a complete county arrest log. It does not guarantee a mugshot either. Nor does it give the final outcome of a charge.
The state's VINE information page displays the search and registration description.

This official overview explains the notification system rather than displaying a list of people.
Check Henderson VINELink Records
Start at VINELink. Enter the full legal name. Add any identifier the screen requests, choose Kentucky and Henderson County when those filters appear, and read each match closely, since common names and similar spellings can return more than one person.
- Select Kentucky. Confirm that the state is correct before entering details.
- Enter the name or identifier. Use the best verified spelling and available data.
- Review possible matches. Compare the custody agency, facility, and status rather than relying on a name alone.
- Open the correct record. Note the status and the time shown by the service.
- Verify urgent information. Call Henderson County Detention Center at 270-827-5560 when timing matters.
A blank search does not mean no arrest happened. New bookings can lag. An arrest may sit in intake, await entry, or fall outside VINE coverage. The person might also be released, transferred, or listed under different identity details at HCDC, the local jail at 380 Borax Drive, Henderson, KY 42420. The VINELink search screen opens the custody search entry.

The interface is a starting point; facility confirmation remains important for a recent arrest.
What Henderson VINELink Shows
Fields vary by facility and record. Treat any VINE result as a status signal. It is not a complete booking file, so compare the result with the known person and facility before registering for alerts.
| Result element | What it means |
|---|---|
| Name or identifier | The identity data used to distinguish a match |
| Custody agency | The agency reporting the status |
| Facility | The place connected to the active record |
| Custody status | Whether the record reflects custody or a reported change |
| Notification option | A route to register for status notices |
| Update information | The system’s available timing context, not a real-time guarantee |
VINELink does not replace the HCDC booking record. The jail file can hold arrest and booking times, the arresting agency, charges, bond, physical descriptors, and a photograph when releasable. VINE does not promise all of that.
People also move between systems. Current county custody belongs with HCDC and VINE. A sentenced state prisoner may appear in Kentucky DOC's KOOL locator. Federal custody sits in the BOP locator, and ICE detention runs through a separate federal search. VINE does not cover either federal system.
Register Henderson Custody Alerts
Searching and registering are separate steps. Pick the correct person or custody record first, then choose "Register Now" and add a phone number or email. Kentucky materials say more than one of each can be registered. Create the required four-digit PIN and guard it.
- Confirm the correct custody record. Match the facility and identity first.
- Choose a delivery method. Enter a direct phone number or email; the phone system does not accept switchboards.
- Create a four-digit PIN. This acknowledges phone notifications.
- Save registration details. Keep the selected record and contact channel current.
- Maintain a separate safety plan. Do not rely on an automated message alone.
Alerts cover release, transfer, or another custody change. Release calls can be persistent. Kentucky Attorney General materials say they may repeat about every 30 minutes for 24 hours, or until acknowledged. State-institution notices can go out up to 72 hours before release when information is available. That is the state process, not a promise about the timing of every HCDC event.
The VINELink registration screen opens alert sign-up.

The registration screen covers one matched record, not a mass arrest or photo display.
Henderson VINE Phone Routes
Henderson County’s Court Date Notifications page gives a county-facing VINE number, 1-866-277-7477. Kentucky DOC and Attorney General materials list the statewide VINE line as 1-800-511-1670. Both numbers carry official backing. If one fails to connect, check the current county or state page. A custody alert is not a hearing reminder. The county notes that Kentucky AOC court-date information is not linked to VINE. So court dates and case outcomes need a separate court check. Keep both phone routes on hand with the person’s identity details. Record the time of each status call you make.
VINE Is Not Henderson CourtNet
For court events, use Kentucky eCourts guest access. Then contact the Henderson County Judicial Center when a guest result is missing or unclear. The clerk's page lists 5 N. Main Street, P.O. Box 675, Henderson, KY 42419-0675, plus 270-826-2405 and 270-826-1566. Hours run weekdays, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Court custody and jail custody differ. Arraignment is where charges are read, rights are explained, and a plea is entered. Disposition is the recorded outcome. A VINE release alert alone says nothing about whether a charge was dismissed, reduced, or resolved.
Context matters with an old arrest record. Check the later court status before sharing anything about it.
Verify Fresh Henderson Bookings
VINE updates can trail a fresh intake. A brand-new arrest may not show yet. Note the time of any check, then call HCDC for current status. The Henderson County arrests last 24 hours page lays out arresting-agency and records fallbacks. Henderson County publishes no same-day web feed or booking app, so the phone and official record routes carry the weight.
Skip any sheriff app for this Kentucky county. Search results often push a North Carolina Henderson County app instead, which serves a different state. Match the agency address and official domain before entering a name or enabling alerts.
HCDC may confirm release while VINE lags. Keep that confirmation and let the system catch up. On a transfer alert, verify the destination first. A blank result can also mean a misspelled name, thin coverage, or an out-of-scope custody system.
Note: VINE should anchor only one piece of a safety plan; lean on official contacts and local support too.
Check every alert against the name, facility, and time shown. Write those details down. Then call the jail or the clerk, since each office covers a different piece of the custody and case timeline.
